I once attended a conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. I had a good time in the city. However, a reader recently sent me a story about what recently transpired in the schools there. I am attaching it here. Please check it out:

I often don’t put too much credence in blogs. But I will let readers decide for themselves.


I am going to write a letter and send an e-mail to the Indiana schools. I suspect that I won’t get much of a response. But I will write to the Governor of Indiana. And whoever runs the Education Department there. .

 

I will let you know if I hear anything more. This article gives “hands on learning“ a new meaning. Perhaps the students AND the administration are not too concerned about making annual yearly progress. Or adequate yearly progress. Will keep you posted!
