After reading a letter to the editor by Judy Bonnell, master advocate, I feel compelled to express some thoughts and positive experiences I have had as both a parent of a child in special education and member of the Parent Advisory Committee in the Integrated Instructional Services division of the Alamogordo Public Schools.
