ZARQA - Third-grader Afnan Mohammad, who used to "hate" going to school, on Wednesday said she now looks forward to attending her classes at Hai Al Hadiqa Basic School, which is now safer and cleaner, as well as beautiful, thanks to the Madrasati initiative.

AMMAN - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Prosecutor General Abdulilah Assaf on Wednesday decided to release Balqa Applied University President Omar Rimawi and his deputy for academic affairs, Abdullah Zu'bi, on bail, an ACC official said on Wednesday.

AMMAN - The Ministry of Education has formally exempted Iraqi students from school fees this year in an effort to facilitate their entry in the Kingdom’s public school system. The ministry’s decision, which was made earlier this month, comes in light of a Royal makruma exempting Jordanian students from the symbolic school fees.
