CALGARY - Companies should stop hiring high school dropouts to encourage students to get their diploma, Alberta Education Minister Dave Hancock told Calgary business leaders on Thursday.

Arizona students still have to pass the AIMS test to get their high-school diploma. Maricopa County Superior Court Judge John Buttrick ruled Wednesday against two Arizona advocacy groups that sued to overturn the state AIMS-test requirement to get a high-school diploma.
