KUWAIT: The Ministry of Education(MoE) has approved a decision allowing autistic students to study at intermediate schools. They will be awarded diplomas qualifying them for special privileges. In the same vein, the chairman of the ministry's private schools department said that before this, disabled students or pupils could only complete their education up to primary school level, with options for further study being limited, reported Al-Watan.

KUWAIT: A number of MPs expressed their disappointment towards the Minister of Education Nouriya Al-Sabeeh and towards the decision of the Cabinet to reject the Parliament's recommendation to postpone the start of the next school year until after the month of Ramadan.
